Job Requirements

You should have met the following criteria: –

  • Degree holder in finance, accounting, or related discipline;
  • 1-3 years relevant working experience (accounting, bookkeeping);
  • Experience in system implementation;
  • Well-versed in Singapore accounting and tax practices;
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, effective communication, and multi-tasking skills;
  • Knowledge of the MAS reporting requirements is a plus;
  • Able to work full-time (40 hours per week);
  • Willingness to learn on the job.

Ideally, you would possess the following traits: –

  • A good sense of humour;
  • A strong interest in accounting and finance work;
  • Interest in building and understanding the relationships between business units and finance;
  • Interest in international work exposure;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A good team player, organised, detail-oriented, proactive, independent and self-motivated;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Be efficient and well-organised;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Hands-on computer skills;
  • Good presentation skills; and
  • Professional proficiency in Bahasa, Malay, Thai, or Mandarin is a plus

Scope of Work

The Finance and Business Administration Team is responsible for the finance and regulatory aspects of Lyte Ventures’ operations across all the countries where Lyte Ventures has a local presence.

Responsibilities: –

  • Take an active role in accounts management and all accounting processes;
  • Monitor payables and receivables for the group of companies;
  • Assist with daily operations in a high transaction environment;
  • Be responsible for bookkeeping and all accounting processes;
  • Handle full set of accounts including data accounting entry in general ledger;
  • Complete account reconciliations and journal entries;
  • Meet processing and reporting deadlines;
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow reports to management;
  • Provide analytical support in explaining business performance;
  • Handle tax data and bank issues; and
  • Assist in other accounting activities and perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.

This role will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance and CEO (based in Singapore).

Job Highlights
