Job Requirements
  • 2 or more years’ experience with AWS service suite, including (but not exhaustively):
    • Networking: TCP/IP protocol suite; VPC; DNS/Route 53
    • Compute: EC2; AMI; load balancer; auto-scaling group
    • Serverless: Lambda
    • Storage, logging, monitoring: S3; CloudWatch
    • Database: RDS; MySQL; SQL Server
    • CDN: CloudFront
    • Security: IAM; KMS; Secrets Manager; WAF
    • Messaging and integration: SNS; API Gateway
    • CI/CD: AWS Developer Tools
    • Infrastructure-as-code: CloudFormation; CDK
    • Enterprise management: AWS Organisations; Systems Manager
    • Preferably AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration:
    • Bash
    • SSH
    • Nginx; Kestrel (ASP.NET Core)
    • Docker; Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with programming languages:
    • C# (.NET Core)
    • Javascript (Node.js)
    • PHP
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle best practices:
    • Distributed version control; branching/merging
    • Code design patterns and refactoring
    • Enterprise architecture and integration patterns
    • Documentation trail discipline
  • Familiarity with infrastructure operational best practices:
    • Monitoring and alert
    • High availability
    • Scalability
    • Security in depth
    • Disaster recovery
  • Passion for learning new technologies and methodologies to devise improved solutions.
  • Dedicated to good teamwork and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Scope of Work
  1. Support the infrastructure requirements for the various products by designing and implementing robust and scalable cloud solutions.
  2. Monitor infrastructure health by way of automated monitoring and alert systems.
  3. Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations for various application systems.
  4. Conduct security and compliance assessments on system implementations.
  5. Research and implement Dev-Ops best practices for Lyte Ventures product teams.
