Job Requirements

You should have met the following criteria: –

  • a diploma or degree In Human Resource;
  • fresh graduates are accepted;
  • experience in a highly collaborative environment or a shared service function;
  • able to work full-time (40 hours per week); and
  • have a good understanding of Human Resource principles.

Ideally, you would possess the following traits: –

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Scope of Work

Together, the PeopleOps Team is responsible for the human resource and administrative aspects of Lyte Ventures’ operations across all the countries where Lyte Ventures has a local presence.

The scope of work of this role is: –

Talent management and learning and organisation development

  1. Co-ordinate learning programmes
    • Collate data and document team learning needs
    • Compute learning expenses against allocated budgets
    • Document learning programmes and participation
    • Apply for grants for learning programmes
  2. Support learning programmes delivery
    • Maintain learning programmes schedules
    • Register staff for learning courses
    • Maintain learning resources inventory
    • Send learning course instructions and reminders to staff
  3. Administer off boarding
    • Ensure exit formalities are complete before staff leaves
    • Respond to staff queries relating to exit processes
    • Maintain staff exit records

Talent attraction and employee experience and relations

  1. Enhance staff engagement and wellbeing
    • Support execution of programmes and initiatives designed to improve staff engagement
    • Collate staff feedback and suggestions
  2. Source for talent and recruit candidates
    • Assist with talent outreach activities
    • Contact potential candidates
    • Maintain database of potential hires
    • Liaise with applicants to administer selection process and assessments
    • Document assessment results for analysis and future reference
    • Prepare employment offer letters and contracts
    • Respond to routine queries from candidates
    • Provide coordination and administrative support in the application of work passes and documentation required for international workforce
  3. Facilitate onboarding of new hires
    • Provide administrative and coordination support for onboarding
    • Coordinate the office and system access set up
    • Gather feedback from new hires on their onboarding experience

Performance and rewards

  1. Performance management
    • Assist to disseminate information to staff in relation to performance reviews and timelines
    • Generate reports ensuring confidentiality of performance review data
  2. Compensation and benefits
    • Gather team feedback on Lyte’s benefits for review purposes
    • Gather data on staff demographics and risk profiles to support review of benefits programmes
  3. Employee compensation
    • Assist with monthly payroll and reimbursement
    • Generate payroll reports and IR8A forms
    • Respond to routine staff queries on matters relating to compensation
  4. Employee benefits, claims and leaves
    • Collate and maintain data
    • Process benefits and claims based on staff submissions
    • Generate reports
    • Respond to routine staff queries on matters relating to benefits
  5. Performance, rewards and other employee data
    • Maintain historical and current staff data
    • Follow regulatory and ethical guidelines when handling data
  6. and perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.

This role will report to the Head of PeopleOps (based in Australia).

Job Highlights
